Atulya Singh - NIFT Bhubaneswar
I am Atulya Singh from Uttar Pradesh ( Ballia) ,a 2nd-year B.Des Textile student at NIFT Bhubaneswar. The idea of starting my brand came to me during my studies. When I researched about Indian craft and history, I came to know that Indian crafts are slowly disappearing. So I thought that I would give a new face to Indian crafts without loosing its authenticity.
I noticed that a lot of waste is generated while working in our college , so I tried to utilize as much of this waste as possible, aiming to make my brand sustainable and eco-friendly.
I have created all the products of my brand so far by myself only.
About Antah
About us- Antaḥ is a Sanskrit word meaning "within", "end", "internally" or "conclusion".
Our tagline " Find Yourself Within " means, what one truly values within, and what one seeks to discover within oneself.
Antah is a brand built on the idea of preserving the rich Indian craftmanship while presenting it in a way that connects with the modern generation. Many people admire traditional crafts but they feel that they are old-fashioned. Antah fills this gap by combining it with modern aesthetics.
Every product at Antah is carefully handmade, using different techniques. Our focus is on using as much waste materials as possible, including textile scraps, cardboard, and other repurposed elements, right now from NIFT Bhubaneshwar.
We also believe in compassion and responsibility, with every purchase, 10% of the amount spent goes to feed stray animals. Our brand doesn't support cruelty and is completely Vegan, as we believe that our culture or fashion should not cause harm to earth or any other living being.
